The priests in Italy preach that animals have no soul and feel no pain
In Italy more than 51 million people confess to the Catholic religion; in no other country live that many priests and cardinals.
Also In Italy there are 1 million stray dogs because Italian Christians every year abandon approx. 135,000 house dogs. Those which don’t starve or get poisoned, shot, knocked down by cars, land in the so-called Canili ("animal homes") where the operators almost hoard these dogs and earn on every dog.
More then 600,000 dogs "live" in this shelters, from Italian animal friends often called "a concentration camp" and have no chance to come out again one day.
They die there a slow and lonesome death, day after day and year after year, while the operators become millionaires with this Canili, because they are paid for their "services" by the municipalities. Animal maltreatments and keeping on the chain are "normally" and cruelty to a dog is mostly classified as a bagatelle. And the priests? In Italy these preach down from the pulpit that animals have no soul and feel no pains, as it is reported over and over again about Italian animal friends. Source
