Cats - Spain

Many cats survive by being fed by kind tourists, during the tourist season - when the tourists go home, the animals are starving - most die of starvation, diseases, poisoning, or end up in municipal where they are euthanised after about a week - or private enclosure -  few or no cats are adopted.

Back in the 60's - Alicante

Back in 2007 - In Barcelon more than 500 homeless cats live in the construction area for the train route between Barcelona and Madrid.

2013 - Comment from the filmmaker - Unfortunately, here in Spain there isn't spay/neuter clinics. Plus I don't have the equipment neither the money for neutering by myself. But I can't let the poor kitties starve. The people here is bad you know - there is a lot of animal cruelty in my country and nobody do nothing.
