ESDAW - Animal Welfare
We will soon continue the work on the website.
Kindness is free to give - give more!
The EU estimates that there are about 100 million abandoned and homeless Companion Animals in Europe - Our work is to expose, inform and raise awareness about the animals situation in Europe - many dogs, cats and animals suffer and die unseen in Europe - too many citizens are unaware of what is happening in the EU - we want to change that and make authorities, governments and the EU to account.
Remember that each neutered stray dog and cat helps to avoid that hundreds of offspring have to live in misery on the streets or living a monotonous life in captivity.
Many dogs and cats are forced to live under conditions that many find hard to belief - but this is the everyday reality for millions of dogs and cats in Europe. A widespread indulgent attitude toward companion animals needs are common especially in Southern and Eastern Europe and governments have done nothing to make the situation better for the animals.
It is now high time that the EU steps in and demands change and sanctions for countries that do not follow their own laws and Europen conventions - then too many Member States year after year demonstrates a complete lack of ambitions to raise companion animal welfare. Therefore must the companion animals immediately be subject to the EU treaties.
